1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FirewoodIdentifier ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FirewoodIdentifier is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to identify firewood species from photographs and return a BTU rating, seasoning assessment, and indoor-burn safety verdict. The App is developed and published by Bulpara Inc.

3. Informational Purposes Only

The App provides AI-generated analysis for informational purposes. Species identifications, BTU values, seasoning assessments, and indoor-burn safety verdicts are subjective, probabilistic, and may be wrong. Results must not be used as the sole basis for burning decisions. For the actual decision to burn, always use a moisture meter, consult local guidance, and defer to your own judgement and the advice of qualified professionals.

4. No Warranty of Safety

Burning wood carries inherent risks — fire, smoke inhalation, carbon monoxide, creosote buildup, and chimney fires. A "safe" verdict from the App does not guarantee that a particular piece of wood is safe to burn in your specific appliance, chimney, or environment. You assume all risks associated with burning any wood identified or assessed by the App.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with all applicable laws. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. You agree not to rely on the App for emergency or life-safety decisions.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, icons, AI models, and branding, is the intellectual property of Bulpara Inc. and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Your submitted photos and the analyses you receive belong to you.

7. Subscription Terms

Premium features require an active subscription. Pricing:

Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store. Billing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's terms and policies. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

8. Auto-Renewal

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. In no event shall Bulpara Inc. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App — including but not limited to property damage, fire, smoke inhalation, carbon monoxide exposure, chimney fires, or any personal injury resulting from burning wood that the App identified, assessed, or labelled.

12. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the transmission of your photos to our servers for AI analysis as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for users who violate these terms or abuse the service. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
